One pound of French Green Clay.

French Green Clay comes from the sedimentation of Silico-aluminum, its coloring the result of the oxides contained in these rocks.

Appearance: Light green colored powder.

French Green Clay absorbs and removes impurities from the skin, stimulating blood flow to create healthy and glowing skin. When prepared as a mask, the clay dries on the skin causing pores to tighten and the skin to feel firm, toned and refreshed.

Used as a natural soap colorant, French Green Clay can range from a grey-green to pale green. Emulsify in water before blending into soap batter.

Also known as Montmorillonite or Illite Clay is considered by many as a healing clay widely used for its skin healing properties. When applied to the skin, it essentially absorbs toxins and poisons that get trapped in the skin. The clay originates from France and mined directly from the earth. French Green Clay is a 100% natural bio-organic material and contains a cornucopia of valuable elements. Its coloring can range from light green to dark green with little to no odor. It’s filled with minerals and has a shelf life of 4-5 years. It is sometimes called 'marine clay' due to the quarries being found in the ancient marine beds.

An easy facial mask formula: take 2 tsp french green clay and add 20 drops jojoba oil. Pour in 3 tbsp freshly steeped chamomile tea. Do NOT stir...allow clay to absorb the tea. Scoop up mask on fingertips and smooth onto face, throat, decolletage, back, etc. When edges become a bit dry, NOT ALL of the mask, just the edges, rinse with warm water over basin or in shower. Pat dry. Discard remaining unused mask.

Additional additives: honey powder, greek yogurt, mashed avocado, mashed banana, buttermilk, goat milk

Discard remaining unused mask. It is difficult to preserve clay masks appropriately, therefore storing them dry, and mixing them at the time of use, is recommended.

Wear protective gear to avoid inhaling the clay.
